While working on with the shopping cart software, you will see help icons on several pages, if you click on one of those icons, you will come to a page that explains a little more about the page you are trying to work on.

In this section, if you choose you can edit what those help pages will say. This is helpful if you want to add your own special help and tips you have encountered while using the software. This is also useful if you have more than one person working on the site and you have a specific way that you like things done. You may add and also delete pages, though its not recommended that you delete the pages that already exist.

Add a Help Page

  • Click the "Add New" link at the top right corner of the page list
  • Enter the ParentID in the first text field
  • Enter the name of the page in the second text field
  • Enter and edit the text that will be on the page in the large text field
  • Click the "Submit" button in the editing panel

    • Delete a Help Page

  • Find the page you want to delete on the list in the Help Name column
  • Click the "Delete" link under the Node ID column next to the corresponding name
  • You will be directed to a page that asks "Do you want to delete this Help Info?"
  • Click the "Yes" button to confirm deletion

    • Edit Existing Help Sections

  • Click on the "Edit" link in the Parent ID column next to the corresponding Help Name
  • Use the HTML page editor to modify the content of that page
  • Click the "Update" button in the editing panel
