Products >> Admin Custom Field

The "Custom Field" feature will allow you to define you own product fields which are not pre-defined. For example, there are already pre-defined fields such as "Title" and "Description," though if you wanted to add your own custom fields, you can do that in this section.
It is very common for your business to have a few custom fields for your products. A custom field may be specific to a specific product, product category, or all of your products. Custom fields are static descriptions that will help your customers learn more about the products that you sell.

Product Add-Ons

A product addon is a configurable option that can be selected when purchasing a product. Add-ons will show up as product features or options and must be configured on a per product basis. Optional items are available to products and all of the products associated SKUs.

When a product addon is setup, you can assign a price to the addon or input a zero price for adding the option. If you input a price, the product price will be adjusted to include the addon items price during checkout. If you set the price to zero, customers will be able to select the addon item for purchase with no additional cost.

Once the products are put into the shopping cart and purchased, the order detail will reflect the items that have been added onto the order.

Checkout Questions

Checkout questions are a feature that will allow you to ask a customer a question when the item is being added into the shopping cart. Checkout questions are useful because it will allow you to prompt a customer for an answer when the click "Add to Cart". The checkout question is perfect for asking a customer for monogram information, gift card information, or other types of questions.

Checkout questions do not have a cost associated with them, they do however ask a single answer question, or multiple choice question during checkout.
