Shipper Accounts

Setup >> Shipping Methods >> Shipper Accounts Tab

The shipping accounts provided by the respective shippers (UPS,Fedex,USPS). Once you have the appropriate information for each account, online shipping services will be enabled for the shipper.


Update Shipper Accounts

FedEx Account Setup

  • Enter Fedex Account Number
  • Enter Fedex Meter Number
  • Select Fedex package type from dropdown menu
  • Click "Update" button at the bottom of the page to save changes

  • UPS Account Setup

  • Enter UPS Access License Number
  • Enter UPS User Id
  • Enter UPS Password
  • Select UPS package type from dropdown menu
  • Click "Update" button at the bottom of the page to save changes

  • USPS Account Setup

  • Enter USPS User Id
  • Enter USPS Password
  • Enter USPS Default Package
  • Click "Update" button at the bottom of the page to save changes

  • Default Weight for Package

  • Enter a numerical value only for the default weight
  • Click the "Update" button to save changes

  • Definitions

    FedEx Account Number The number that FedEx assigns you when you sign up for an account. This number allows you to ship packages without paying for them upfront, FedEx will simply add up your account activity and send you an invoice for services used.
    FedEx Meter Number FedEx Meter Numbers allow your website to communicate with the FedEx website so that you may obtain real-time shipping calculations. You can request a FedEx Meter number by calling 1-800-810-9073.
    FedEx Default Package This is the package type that your shipments will always default to, you may always choose a different package though you would want to set this to the package type you use the most.
    UPS Access License Number The number UPS assigns you when you sign up for an account. This number allows you to ship packages without paying for them upfront, UPS will simply add up your account activity and send you and invoice for services used.
    UPS User ID Your UPS.com User ID, you may sign up for this at UPS.com.
    UPS Password Your UPS.com password that is associated with your UPS.com User ID.
    UPS Default Package This is the package type that your shipments will always default to, you may always choose a different package though you would want to set this to the package type you use the most.
    USPS User ID Your USPS/PostalOne! User ID, you may sign up for this at uspspostalone.com
    USPS Password Your USPS/PostalOne! password that is associated with your USPS/PostalOne! User ID.
    USPS Default Package This is the package type that your shipments will always default to, you may always choose a different package though you would want to set this to the package type you use the most.
